The Center for Special Therapies "Trigger" is based in the city of Kilkis, where it was created to offer a safe and modern therapeutic framework for children, adolescents and adults. The center provides child psychiatric monitoring, speech therapy and learning assessment and intervention, occupational therapy, psychotherapy, parent counseling, early intervention program and special education. Our vision is to improve the functionality of the individual and his environment through therapeutic approaches, characterized by naturalness, developmental basis and respect for the difficulty and personality of each individual. By contacting the Center, an appointment is made for the evaluation of the current situation of the individual and for the receipt of a complete history, in order to allow detailed processing of the data and composition of the unique profile of the individual. Then, the cooperation of the interdisciplinary team of the center (child psychiatrist, speech therapist, occupational therapist, psychologist, specialist educator) is a cornerstone of the formation of a reliable treatment plan in order to comprehensively address the difficulties of each child, adolescent or adult. In the end, there is a possibility of issuing a medical opinion, as long as there is information and discussion with the parents / caregivers of the child or adult in a comfortable and friendly atmosphere. At the same time, the cooperation with the school environment of the child and the active participation of the parents, are important factors that contribute to the success of each program.
